Toochukwu Ogbonna is a medical doctor and health data scientist who currently works as a Data and Insight Officer in a university marketing department. He manages large datasets from HESA and UCAS, builds dashboards in Power BI and Quarto, and works with SQL and Google BigQuery. He has experience with R, Python, cloud infrastructure, and statistical modeling.

He previously interned at Swansea University, where he used SAIL databank data to explore links between deprivation and chronic disease prevalence. Toochukwu values curiosity—especially the ability to ask “why”—as the key trait of a great data scientist, and he writes about topics such as football, machine learning, and data visualization.
